2022 will be a busy year! After a hugely successful concert in Novi Sad (Serbia) at the occasion of Europe Day on 9 May, the WBYO is getting ready for two tours in quick succession: in July it will travel through the Western Balkans and perform concerts in Pristina, Skopje, Novi Sad, Mostar and Kotor; and in August it will go on German stages, with concerts in Berlin, Kassel, Königswinter, Aachen and Essen (see schedules below). This represents a new rhythm and a new challenge for our young musicians, who will now taste the stresses and excitement of professional orchestra musicians, thus bringing the WBYO to a whole new level of functioning - New Ways.
The process will once again start in Pristina, where the 30 participants will gather for 8 intense days of preparation and rehearsal, and where they will study a demanding concert programme. As mentioned above, the bar is set significantly higher for these tours.
