Due to Corona restrictions, the first activity of the WBYO was the trans-border virtual project Building Musical Bridges 2020. After individual and group training lessons with esteemed lecturers, three orchestra pieces were played and recorded virtually. Each musician recorded his part at home, and then the parts were assembled by a technician to an overlay video. What sounds simple in fact required a lot of effort and skill to achieve a video of acceptable musical and visual quality. The whole team is proud that already the first try, produced under considerable time pressure, resulted in a presentable recording.
